Privacy Policy

Effective September 4, 2026

Carbacio Search, a recruiting practice of Carbacio Group, respects the privacy of job seekers, candidates, employers, and website visitors. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Please do not include highly sensitive information in a résumé or message. Do not submit Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, financial account information, medical information, passwords, or other information that is not reasonably needed for recruiting.

Information we collect

When you submit a résumé or contact us about an employment opportunity, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, location, employment history, education, qualifications, desired role, uploaded résumé, and any other information you choose to provide.

When an employer contacts us, we may collect the contact person's name, business contact information, company information, hiring needs, role details, and related communications.

Our website and hosting providers may also collect limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, access time, and basic website activity. If we add analytics or similar technologies, this policy will continue to govern how that information is used.

How we use information

Candidate confidentiality

We do not send a candidate's résumé, name, or identifying information to a prospective employer without the candidate's permission. We may discuss a candidate's general, non-identifying qualifications when exploring potential opportunities, but we will obtain permission before making an identifiable introduction.

How we share information

We may share information with prospective employers when a candidate has authorized us to do so, and with service providers that support our website, email, file storage, recruiting, security, and business operations. Those providers may process information only as needed to perform services for us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or in connection with a business transaction.

We do not sell personal information.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide recruiting services, maintain appropriate business records, consider candidates for future opportunities, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. You may ask us to update or delete information, subject to legal and legitimate business-record requirements.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No website, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure, so please submit only information appropriate for a recruiting relationship.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you have provided, withdraw from consideration, or request that we stop contacting you. Some information may be retained when required by law or for legitimate recordkeeping purposes.

Children's privacy

Carbacio Search is intended for adults seeking employment or recruiting services and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and Carbacio Search is not responsible for those practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
